It's only 5 minutes to Ben Thanh, 5 minutes to Pham Ngu Lao (Backpackers street ) on foot, and it's on the main road where everything is easily accessible. So if you are a tourist, you should choose this place because it will reduce your cost for transportation. One good thing about this house is that the building is not located in the alley, so after you go down, you can take a taxi right away ✔ COMFORTABLE HOUSE: It is an old property lived in by the locals ever since Saigon gained its independence. As such it might be a little run down, but it is as local as it gets. The residents there are mostly senior citizens, but very friendly and helpful. You will really be in safe hands. You will have the whole apartment all by yourself, located on the SECOND FLOOR, so you will have the feeling very Saigon - I believe this is the purpose for travelling, right? To know how the local lifestyle communicates with the neighborhood - they are super very friendly and nice.
